Semantic structure of Altai polysemantic verb tart – "to pull"

Words have the ability to be polysemantic, in other words to vary their meaning according to functions, that they perform in the sentence as on surrounding them context. Lexical-semantic variants (further – LSV) or separate meanings form within a word word’s semantic paradigm, they are semantically connected with each other and are realized in different standard contexts. This article covers the analysis of functioning of modal verb tart – “to pull” in phrases of different semantics and the definition of conditions that realize its all possible meanings.
