Application of digital technologies and information graphics in the process of teaching propaedeutics and design to design students

This article presents a methodology for using computer technologies in the process of forming professional competencies of designers. Possession of modern technologies allows students, already at the initial stage of creativity, to study and comprehend a number of aspects related to the harmonious construction of compositional structures, to form a meaningful approach based on knowledge of the laws of composition and use of their own experience in performing practical work. It also considers the relevance of using infographics as a tool for implementing the educational process in higher education. At the present stage of development of the education system, the visual display of information by means of visualization is considered an attractive solution. This type of illustration, like infographics, has won many supporters, the reason for this is that modern humanity is focused on the visual image, and information design allows you to create a visual display of data, and can be used in various types of knowledge. The use of infographics in the field of education makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the formation of competencies among design students when studying disciplines of a professional profile.
