The article deals with the social nature and public functions of the Lezghi language. The subject of our research is the sociolinguistic portrait of language. The aim of the study is to identify the specifics of the sociolinguistic portrait of the Lezghi language, which results in the formation of a paradigm representation of the language in the quantitative coefficients of the social meanings of the language.
