The influence of ethnocultural factors on Russian and Chinese phraseological expressions

The article deals with the influence of different ethno-cultural factors on the Russian and Chinese phraseological expressions. Every language in the world has a certain cultural background, the language is a carrier of culture, a means of communication between peoples and a mirror of their culture. Phraseological expressions, as an important part of language, are the quintessence of language, concentrated culture and have pronounced national features. The proper use of idioms in intercultural communication can improve the quality of communication and contribute to the dissemination of culture. Russian and Chinese are two outstanding representatives of the Indo-European and Sino-Tibetan language families respectively. With the development of history and the accumulation of culture, there are a large number of phraseological units in Russian and Chinese languages, which have both differences and similarities, so the phraseological units in both languages are of great value for research.
