Features of the development of tasks for the development of listening skills when teaching a foreign language at a university

Successful work in a professional environment requires that a specialist have good listening skills, which is difficult. The research aims to describe a sequence of designing tasks to develop foreign listening skills at a university. It includes considering university students’ educational needs, utilizing modern sources of foreign information, selecting and making accessible foreign content, choosing the suitable type of tasks, using an e-learning environment, and improving task layouts in the e-learning environment. The sequence allows the academic staff to organize work to perceive and analyze job-related information in a foreign language.
