Analysis of the compensation strategies of institutional cultural vacancy in the Russian translation of the collection "Strange stories from a Chinese studio"

This article, devoted to the study of cultural vacancy and their compensatory strategies in the Russian translation of the collection "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", through the comparison between the Chinese version of "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" (People's Literature Publishing House, 1989) and its Russian translations (“Fiction”, 1983, 1988), discusses and explores the compensatory strategies adopted by V.M. Alekseev to resolve issues of cultural vacancy from the perspective of institutional culture.
