Objective metaphor in kinotext (by the example of films of E. Ryazanov)

Li Yan   (Candidate of Philological Sciences, Saint-Petersburg State University)

The article deals with the consideration of the features of the functioning of objective metaphors in the texts of films directed by E. Ryazanov. Objective metaphors are identified and analyzed within the framework of the cognitive approach, with the help of which intangible objects, such as speech, thought, soul, emotion, state and ability of a person, are modeled in the image of objects that actually exist in our world. We see that this type of conceptual metaphor, based on the life and cultural experience of a person, reflects the specifics of the presentation of this language collective about the surrounding reality. This helps students of a foreign audience to better imagine the Russian language picture of the world.

Keywords:objective metaphor; objectification; kinotext; linguistic view of the world.
