On the question of teaching writing to Chinese students

This work aims to highlight the problematic issues of teaching Russian as a foreign language in an audience of Chinese students. The author of the article focuses on the process of teaching written speech communication. The author notes that due to some ethnopsychological characteristics of the Chinese nation, students from the PRC experience difficulties in generating their own written work in a foreign language, reasoned answers to questions, a story about themselves, their culture and their own life experience. The article discusses the main methods and techniques of work aimed at developing the skills of written foreign language speech among Chinese students, the use of which is effective and has a positive effect on the level of educational results of students. In particular, natural modesty and indecision put forward such types of speech activity as reading and writing as leading ones. The ability to memorize a large amount of information, as well as a good visual memory, allows the Russian as a foreign language teacher to widely introduce various types of dictations, substitution exercises, and model work into the learning process.
