Educational activities as a means of actualizing the socio-cultural aspect of teaching foreign languages to students of non-linguistic areas of university training

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of educational activities on the actualization of the socio-cultural aspect of teaching foreign languages to students of non-linguistic areas of universities. The authors denote that students’ study of the realities and culture of the countries of the foreign language being learned has a beneficial effect on the formation of their own picture of the world. The attention is paid to the description of the pedagogical experiment revealing the potential of educational activities in actualization of socio-cultural aspect of teaching foreign languages to students of non-linguistic areas of university training. As a result it should be mentioned that the conducted educational activities have a beneficial effect on the formation of a full-fledged professional personality.
