The article is devoted to research in the field of education, it substantiates the need to educate the spiritual and moral guidelines of high school students with the capabilities of the subject literature and extracurricular activities in the light of new challenges of society, gives a new formulation of guidelines, sets out the goals and objectives of the study and the ways of introducing a system of pedagogical conditions necessary for the formation of spiritual and moral guidelines of high school students.
