Relations between Russia and Germany through the prism of political discourse (based on the speeches of German politicians at the St. Petersburg Dialogue Forum for 2001-2019)

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of the current international situation on political discourse. An interpretation of the concept of "discourse" is given. The author traces the changes in relations between Russia and Germany, which are reflected in the texts of the speeches of German politicians at the Petersburg Dialogue forum for the period 2001-2019. Speech strategies and tactics and lexical markers are revealed that characterize the quality of relations between the two countries in different time periods.
