The Soviet Union and the Doukhobors of Canada in the 1940s

The article is devoted to the analysis of the political position of the Canadian Doukhobors during the Second World War and in the first post-war years. The source base for the study was the materials of the Russian-language newspaper Vestnik, which was published in Toronto. The cooperation of the Dukhobors with the diplomatic structures of the USSR and the pro-Soviet intellectuals of Canada is characterized. The article proves that the Canadian Dukhobors provided significant assistance to the Soviet Union during the Second World War.
