The article reveals the causes of hypotonic dysphonia in young people, adolescents and children who were examined by a phonopedist in a private rehabilitation center for the correction of speech and other higher mental functions. The revealed violations of various characteristics of the voice in the examined patients are described in detail. According to the author, the causes of hypotonic dysphonia are not only diseases of various systems and organs of the vocal apparatus, improper voice-leading and non-observance of voice hygiene, but also a violation of the innervation of the larynx caused by dysarthric disorder, which is observed in most of the examined patients from childhood. The pathophysiological mechanism of voice disorders caused by dysarthric speech disorder is discussed. The author notes that voice disorders in this category of patients are due to the fact that in the process of correctional work speech therapists did not pay enough attention to voice disorders in children with dysarthria, no special phonopedic work was carried out to eliminate them in the process of correcting dysarthria, their prevention, and later on. hygiene of the voice in children.
