Features of oral, written and automated translation from Chinese

In this paper, we have considered the following types of translation: oral, written and machine (automatic). The object of the study is the problems arising from the above types of translation. The subject of the study is the transformation of translation due to the progress of information technology. The objective of the study is to study the functionality of each of the listed types of translation. The purpose of this work is to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each type separately, their joint application to improve the quality of translation. To achieve this goal, the following tasks have been solved: the parameters of the features of the types of translation have been determined, problems have been identified and generalized. The paper presents the opinions of scientists on this issue. Presents examples of translated text with the use of machine (automatic) translation, online services "Yandex translator, Google translator", "PROMT.One», «Translate.ru». The results of this work can be used in the course of studying the subject of translation and translation studies, by linguistics specialists, in practice by translators, as well as in the preparation of textbooks.
