Separate education as a factor in the success of the student and the teacher

This article is intended to reveal the features of the organization of separate education for schoolchildren. The purpose of the work is to consider separate education as a factor in the success of the subjects of educational relations. The paper briefly recreates the history of the issue highlights the practice of separate education in pre-revolutionary Russia and reflects current trends in separate education. Based on the analysis of the works of Russian and foreign researchers, a range of advantages and disadvantages of this model of education is outlined, and the practice of experimental educational organizations that implement separate education for boys and girls is presented. The article points out that the main principle of this approach in the educational process is considering the physical and physiological characteristics of the development of children, which dictate the difference in the model of teaching boys and girls. In this regard, the paper outlines a range of problems associated with the practice of introducing separate education for schoolchildren. As a result of the analysis of historical, pedagogical, and practice-oriented sources, the author of the article proposed recommendations for disseminating the ideas of separate education for children, including the need to inform the parent community about the merits of this model of education using the example of positive world practices in this area.
