Content and methodology of developing the physical qualities of officers of the Russian aerospace forces studying under professional retraining programs on the basis of targeted development of endurance

The level of physical fitness of officers of the Russian Aerospace Forces has a significant impact on the quality of their performance of their military professional duties. However, the results of practical checks indicate an insufficient level of physical fitness of the officers of the Russian Aerospace Forces who arrive for training under professional retraining programs. The article studied the level of physical fitness of students studying under professional retraining programs. The content and methods of development of the basic physical qualities of officers on the basis of the predominant development of endurance in the conditions of short-term training are substantiated.
