The value "Money" in the Russian and English languages

Timiryazeva Kamilla Ramilevna  (postgraduate student, Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla Ufa, Russia)

A special place in the study of language and culture is occupied by proverbs, since the cultural and national traditions recorded in them are passed on from generation to generation. Proverbs reflect folk wisdom in a laconic form. Proverbs pass on the experience from generation to generation by word of mouth. Although they appeared centuries ago, they are no less popular nowadays. The system of values reflected in many proverbs (for example, family, friendship, work, etc.) seem to be eternal, and folk wisdom teaches us the correct attitude to these attitudes. However, the world does not stay in one place for a long time, it is changing, and the attitude of a person to life is changing, which is still reflected in the language. This is confirmed by the paremias of the new generation - anti-proverbs - judgments based on traditional proverbs with a changed meaning

Keywords:paremia, proverb, anti-proverb, transformation, modified proverb.
