Actual problems of teaching a foreign language in a bilingual communicative space

The article is devoted to the problem of improving the methodology of teaching a foreign language in a bilingual environment. Russian is the main language of instruction in most schools of the Chechen Republic, despite the fact that the educational process is built entirely in Russian, primary school teachers have to resort to their native language when explaining the material, which is explained by the fact that the child grows up in a natural-ethnic socio-cultural environment, where the main attribute and the main communicative unit is the native language. Chechen-Russian bilingualism has found its legal reflection, which allows it to develop further, being a necessary element in the communicative space.
