Children's fairy tales in the folklore of the Dargins: subject matter and artistic originality

Children's folklore is a vast area of oral and poetic creativity of Dargins – one of the ethnic nationalities of the Republic of Dagestan. Its plot-thematic composition includes both poetic genres (lullabies, family ritual songs) and prosaic (fairy tales, game folklore, riddles). Each of these genre varieties of children's folklore is characterized by its own characteristics, specificity and artistic originality. Among them, children's fairy tales stand out, which are characterized by a pronounced didactic orientation and educational function.
