The use of information technologies in studying the discipline "discrete mathematics" in higher education institutions

This article is intended to reveal the role of the use of information technology in the practice of teaching the discipline "Discrete Mathematics" in universities. The paper presents the features of the use of ICT in the classroom with the student, as well as their application in the independent activities of students. As a result of the study, effective methods of working with students based on the introduction of information technologies into the learning environment of universities have been identified. In addition, the advantages of this approach are reflected, those that allow intensifying and optimizing the process of mastering the named discipline.
