In the National Project «Education», one of the main vectors for the development of the modern educational environment is its digitalization. The implementation of this direction in the system of higher education is implemented both in the classroom and in extracurricular activities. The article gives an overview of the results of the experience of organizing independent work of students - bachelors studying in the direction of "History and social science" on the basis of the technopark of universal pedagogical competencies (social and humanitarian cluster) in the academic disciplines of archeology, ethnography and museology. The digital educational environment of the university allows you to organize work with real historical sources, providing a variety of opportunities for their visualization. Working with historical sources allows the future teacher of history and social science to form the competence of their systematic study. The analysis of a material historical source requires mastery of a wide range of methods: morphological method, classification, typological method, reconstruction and interpretation. All this, including the attribution of the material, precedes the multi-stage process of digital modeling of historical objects - their presentation. A wide range of historical modeling, the creation of digital and real 3D models, historical maps, virtual museums, the use of virtual reality technologies (VR technologies) are provided in technoparks of universal pedagogical competencies. Solving project problems in historical modeling, applying a practice-oriented approach to working with materials, individual and joint team activities of students - all this forms the soft and hard skills of a future teacher of history and social studies. Skills are also formed to use historical material for educational purposes, both in work with schoolchildren and with a wide range of everyone interested in history. Digitalization technologies in the organization of independent work of students in the academic disciplines of archeology, ethnography and museology on the basis of the technopark of universal pedagogical competencies (social and humanitarian cluster) have a high potential and can be applied in various areas of professional pedagogical education.
