The article tackles the main issues of modern foreign language teaching non-linguistic students at higher education institutions, the difficulties faced by professors in teaching a foreign language to students of non-linguistic specialties. The author analyzes three main educational technologies in teaching a foreign language: project technologies, information and communication technologies and CLIL technology.
