PASTERNAK'S PROSE PHRASEOLOGY IN THE FUNCTIONAL AND STYLISTIC ASPECT

The article deals with the analysis of the phraseological units of B.L. Pas-ternak’s prose in terms of their functional and stylistic characteristics. Tak-ing into account the nature of the stylistic connotation of phraseological units and the scope of their functioning, the following classes of phraseo-logical units are distinguished: colloquial, interstyle and bookish, and the features of each of these groups are considered.
