Improving the methodology of teaching physical culture in modern domestic universities through the prism of international standards

Modern priorities of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of sports and physical culture development, conditioned by social, economic and nature-forming aspects, as well as national security and demographic problems, determined a number of conditions for the formation of society, according to which it is necessary to improve the methodology of teaching such a vital and psychoemotionally important discipline as "Physical Culture". At the same time, this subject should not lose its relevance not only in preschool and secondary educational institutions, but also be one of the central areas of educational activity in universities. Today, the methodology and organization of recreational and developing sports-oriented practice are based on an integral approach and valeological principles, which has become the quintessence of sports didactics in domestic and foreign pedagogy. Namely, the educational process is now focused both on the concepts of competitive, conjugate and game methods, and on a system of goals and values that motivate higher school students to preserve and maintain their own physical, psychological and spiritual and moral health, to prevent its pathologies and prevent a number of diseases through sports, in addition, these factors contribute to the preservation and prolongation of human life.
