Comparative analysis of phraseological units with a somatic component in English and German

The article is devoted to somatic components in the phraseological units of different, but at the same time related, belonging to the same group of languages and which are of particular interest to linguists-researchers of typology. Such phraseological units can be both universal in the English-German pair, and have specific features that reflect the national linguistic picture of the world, since they are cultural concepts closely related to the linguistic characteristics of a particular country or territory.
