PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE AS A MOTIVATOR: ABOUT THE SYSTEM OF EDUCATIONAL MODULES AND IT-COMPETENCES OF A PHILOLOGIST

The paper presents the results of the innovative transformation of the form and content of the profile disciplines of the educational program of the HE direction “Applied Philology. Foreign languages". The main provisions of the methodology for teaching how to work with software products are formulated in order to form and further improve the professional IT-competencies of a philologist, the tools for updating this methodology are analyzed, taking into account the full-time educational process. The concept of the educational module "Information technologies in philology" is presented, the educational task of which is the development of professional software products, as well as imitation of remote work techniques for specialists in related specialties: editor, translator, terminologist, commentator, analyst and others. Applied software products used by philologists in their professional activities for the purpose of text processing, as well as designing the structure and content of specialized resources, text corpora, lexicographic and bibliographic databases are considered.
