FORMATION OF THE LIFESTYLE OF AN INDIVIDUAL WITHIN THE CONCEPT OF A. ADLER

The article determines that a child's lifestyle is formed by the age of five, and that after this age, personal freedom is limited. Once a lifestyle is formed, a child (and then an adult) will always respond to reality in accordance with the basic assumptions underlying his lifestyle and in accordance with his personal goal (in the unique way in which he achieves a sense of belonging) . He interprets every situation he encounters according to his own style. It is usually only through upbringing, education, or therapy that real changes can be made in the process of shaping an individual's lifestyle.
