The article examines the functional load of interrogative sentences in the poetic narrative of V. Vysotsky, due to the volume of works and determined by the tasks set by the author. Among the functions are the possibility of an interrogative construction to become the initiator of the development of a poetic plot (an interrogative theme) or to link independent, at first glance, works into one storyline (cycle), as well as the dialogization of the text and the emotional expression of the attitude to the described event.
