The article analyzes the development of variability of personal calendar names in the second half of the XIX century in the Far Eastern region. taxation systems and dynamics of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia. The author analyzes the dependence of the use of a certain form of a personal name in the act of writing on the specifics of the document, genre and stylistic affiliation) and the social status of the named. The unification of personal names, the development of a certain system of distinguishing variant and independent names in the anthroponomic system is considered. The article differentiates the concepts of "personal name form" and "personal name variant".
