ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURE AND METHODS OF NOMINATION IN THE TERMINOLOGY OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The purpose of this article is to identify the main scientific disciplines, the terminology of which is the central area in the terminological system of information and computing systems of artificial intelligence. The idea of creating computers similar to the human brain is not modern. This task was formulated 50-60 years ago. Today, the very term “artificial intelligence” is debatable, both in terms of the content of concept and the expediency of creating such complexes precisely in accordance with the principles of human brain. In most cases of application of this term, it turns out that it is a journalistic or common cliché. However, even today the existing capabilities of computer systems make it possible to perform many complex tasks better than a human. These scientific advances are possible by virtue of progressive movement of science over a very long period of time. Each of the scientific or national economic tasks, for the solution of which automation systems are created, requires its own means and equipment. Many of these devices are “digital” extensions of existing ones, and some of them are completely innovative. The method of diachronic analysis was used to analyze the dynamics of the formation of terminological system of information and computing systems. Using the method of structural analysis, the structure of central region studied by the TS was determined. The typological method of analysis allows to determine the existing types of links between the TS of individual disciplines, which form the central logical and conceptual part of the TS of information and computing systems.
