The article is devoted to the consideration of the features and nature of the medical support of the Nizhny Novgorod militia soldiers of 1812, the determination of morbidity and treatment indicators, the analysis of the class-corporate features of the era identified in the treatment of the militia. Based on the study of the materials of the Central Archive of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the analysis of historiographical works, the general and special features of the local militia corps in the process of its medical support are revealed
