RELATIONSHIP, CONTINUITY AND INTEGRATION OF ACADEMIC SUBJECTS AND DISCIPLINES IN THE STRUCTURE OF GENERAL AND HIGHER EDUCATION

The article is devoted to the issues of interconnection, continuity and integration of academic subjects and disciplines in the structure of general and higher education. The concepts of «integration» and «continuity» of education are disclosed. Their specificity at the levels of general and higher education is shown. The organizational and pedagogical conditions in the «school – university» system, which ensure the continuity of education, are described. The role of interconnection, continuity and integration of educational subjects from the point of view of the theory and methodology of teaching in the structure of general and higher education is noted. The article presents the experience of continuity and integration of the content of academic disciplines in various fields of study at school and university, as well as pedagogical technologies for preparing schoolchildren in various subjects and disciplines in the context of the integration of general and higher education.
