THE MAIN DIFFICULTIES OF FORMING LANGUAGE COMPETENCE (ENGLISH) OF STUDENTS IN ENGINEERING SPECIALTIES

The article discusses the specifics of the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students in engineering specialties. The context of the implementation of educational activities, the existing trends as the reasons for the presence of barriers in mastering the studied competence are revealed. The characteristics of language competence are revealed, the components of foreign language communicative competence are described. The main difficulties of students are considered, recommendations for optimizing the educational process are proposed
