PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATING CHINESE DIPLOMATIC DISCOURSE INTO RUSSIAN

At present, relations between Russia and China are expanding in many areas of activity. They involve economic, political and scientific cooperation between the two countries. The development of diplomatic relations, their strengthening provides for the need to improve translation practice in this segment, solve the problems of diplomatic discourse in the transfer of essence, eliminate errors and inaccuracies in translation from Chinese into Russian and vice versa. The article focuses on the fact that translation as a whole is a complex process of interlingual and intercultural communication based on the creation of a secondary text through a qualitative translation analysis of the primary text, and the translation of diplomatic discourse is a highly responsible work that involves knowledge of the historical characteristics of the country, national the specifics of the people, their culture, mentality for the accurate transmission of the content of the primary text by the translator. Otherwise, significant details may be omitted and this will negatively affect the subsequent communication and cooperation of countries. The relevance of the work lies in the need for a better translation of Chinese diplomatic texts into Russian, which also provides for deep cultural and historical knowledge of the translator about China and the mentality of its people. The subject of the study is the problems associated with the translation of Chinese linguistic and cultural specifics into Russian. The object of the study is the linguo-ethnic, grammatical features of the translation of Chinese diplomatic texts into Russian, as well as equivalent correspondences in the specified diplomatic discourse. The novelty of the study lies in a more complete disclosure of the problems of translating Chinese diplomatic discourse into Russian and some recommendations that are in demand in modern realities. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the recommendations indicated in it can be recommended to translators, graduate students, methodologists and teachers involved in the translation of Chinese diplomatic discourse into Russian.
