TEACHING FOREIGN STUDENTS RUSSIAN FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES (LSP) AT THE INITIAL STAGE

At the end of the twentieth century, the global importance of the Russian language increased, and therefore more and more foreign citizens are turning to its study. But for many foreigners, the Russian language is not only a means of communication, but also a means of obtaining higher professional education. In this regard, one of the priority tasks of teaching Russian is professionally oriented language training of foreign students. As part of this training, students take a course in Russian as a language for special purposes (LSP). The author of this article deals with the specifics of teaching LSP on the example of the sublanguage of physics, focusing on the system of exercises and, in the course of analysis, identifying both difficulties and prospects of the proposed methodology
