TEACHING STUDENTS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TO WORK WITH A PROFESSIONALLY- ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEXT

This article touches upon the problem of teaching English to students studying at the faculties of information technology. The authors of the article believe that the text should form the basis of such a training. Attention is drawn to the special preparation of the teacher for classes and, first of all, to the introduction of a system of exercises in the educational process. The algorithm of working with texts at each stage of this process is shown, examples of exercises at the pre-text, text and post-text stages of teaching professionally oriented reading are provided.
