THE ROLE OF MENTAL MAPS IN LEARNING

This scientific article is devoted to the role of mental maps in the learning process. The article discusses the basic concepts and principles of mental map construction, as well as their practical application in the educational process. The authors discuss the importance of using mental maps in the learning process to improve cognitive activity and improve memory. Various approaches to the use of mental maps in learning are also analyzed, including individual and collective use, as well as use in various subject areas. In conclusion, the authors summarize and discuss the prospects for the further use of mental maps in the educational sphere
