ON THE QUESTION OF THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE BASHKIR ESTATE (BY THE MATERIALS OF THE VII REVISION OF THE BIRSKY AND STERLITAMAK DISTRICT OF THE ORENBURG PROVINCE)

Karimov T. T.  (Candidate of historical Sciences, Institute of History. Sh. Marjani AS RT (Kazan))

In the article, based on the revision materials of two counties, the little-studied issues of the formation and development of the bashkir estate are explored. It is noted that during the inter-revision period, a large group of tatars of the meshcheryak estate of different teams and villages was included in the "bashkirs". In addition to them, the bashkir estate grew numerically at the expense of other categories (for example, "kyrgyz"). A less common way of transferring to this estate was the adoption of tatars by patrimonials. As a rule, reckoning from one class to another was carried out by order of the Orenburg military governor. The introduction of new facts into scientific circulation will help overcome subjectivity and tendentiousness in covering issues of ethnicity, the history of settlements and land volosts.
