PROVERB TRANSFORMATIONS IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH MEDIA DISCOURSE THROUTH THE PRISM OF LINGUOEGOLOGY

The article is devoted to the study of anti-proverbs in the media discourse of the English and Russian languages in order to identify their linguoecology. The subject of the study is the transformed proverbs found in the newspaper corpus of the National Corpus of the Russian Language and the news corpus of the British National Corpus. The analysis led to the identification of changes in the original meaning of proverbs and linguoecology of the use of anti-proverbs in English and Russian media texts.
