IMAGES OF ANIMALS AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION IN LITERATURE

The article describes the images of animals in literature. Four types of animal imagery through the world's literary works are outlined. They are: The symbolic type, the type possessing an animal face, the type of the real animal, the type of the pure animal image. It is these various animal images that enrich the living picture of the literary world. It is concluded that the symbolic image of the animal practically has an animal form, rather than containing the animal essence and culture. It has the weakest animal component; the author uses it for metaphor, which brings the richest artistic coloring. In the works, authors combine animal forms and human characters, thus indirectly reflecting life experience, deeds and wisdom. As for the type of the real image of the animal, the priority attention to the very fate of animals, the real relationship between animals and people, demonstrate the essential importance of animals and animal subjective position in fact the narrative and the fate of animals is still a reflection and form of the author's point of view, only acquires less artificial coloring. The depiction of animal images has already become an important phenomenon that cannot be ignored. In literature, images of animals are always influenced by authors; they are artificial products.
