VERBALIZATION OF PASSIVE AGGRESSION IN MASS MEDIA TEXTS

The article provides a description of aggression in general and passive aggression in particular. Being an integral element of social interaction, passive aggression, despite its implicit nature, causes irreparable moral harm to the victim. Passive aggression has been verbalized in mass media texts in the form of anglicisms: gaslighting, neglect, ghosting, withholding, double-binding, containing a description of the leading tactics. An algorithm for describing tactics of passive aggression is proposed. A comparative analysis has been carried out.
