The article gives a semantic analysis of the lexical unit boog, which is a representative of the concept EARTH in the language picture of the world of the Evens. The material of the study was 11 lexicographic sources, texts of folklore and artistic discourses of the Evens, as well as the author's field materials. As a result of the analysis of the lexeme bug in various bilingual dictionaries, 12 conceptual features were identified. Contextual analysis made it possible to single out 2 additional semes – the archetypal conceptual sign enin-bug ´mother-earth´ and iӈen bug ´north´ (lit. cold earth). In the linguistic consciousness of the Evens, the seme country and the universe in a speech situation can also be used with the semantic content earth, sema nature has no semantic differences with the seme homeland.
