Sharaeva G. Z.  (Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University )

The article is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of adjectival vocabulary in the English, Turkish and Tatar languages. This vocabulary has a complex structure, which is represented by motivating, conceptual and expressive features. A systematic approach to the study of adjectival representatives of lexical units structures the identified lexemes and reflects the specifics of their functioning. The implementation of expressive features in the language occurs with the help of conceptual stylistic devices, such as metaphors, sometimes with the help of metonymy, which is explained by the abstract nature of the vocabulary under study.
