METACONCEPT "CLIMATE CHANGE" IN THE MODERN MEDIA DISCOURSE

The purpose of the article is to identify the structural and semantic organization of the metaconcept "climate change" in the media discourse. Discourse is considered as an actualization of the interaction of text structures with extralinguistic factors. A metaconcept is a set of meanings representing an important axiological category within the framework of discourse. As a result of the analysis, the structure of the meta-concept "climate change" forms the unity of three components: problem-historical; fascinative-presentation and philosophical, which are specific dichotomies. The given examples illustrate the statements under consideration.
