A STUDY OF MEMORIES OF WAR IN YEVTUSHENKO'S LYRICS

Yevgeny Yevtushenko is one of the most famous poets of the Soviet period. His poems described and reflected all aspects of Soviet social life and were called «Encyclopaedia of Soviet society». This article characterises the poetic works of the poet; against the background of social and historical events, an acquaintance with the memories of the war in his lyrics is made; the peculiarities of the poetry and creativity of the poet are analysed; both the influence of the war on the people of the 1960s and the development of the poet's anti-war thought and the development of his humanistic spirit are deeply investigated.
