At present, Russian-Chinese ties are becoming stronger, which is reflected in all types of joint activities, including the field of literature. Of genuine interest is the translation of the literature of Chinese authors into Russian, the preservation of the specifics of a writer or poet, the peculiarities of his language, as well as stylistic devices and national specifics, which is not an easy task. A high-quality translation from one language to another is possible only with a correct understanding of the culture in our case of the Chinese people by a Russian reader, excellent command of the Chinese language and professional skills of a translator.
In translation, it is important to convey the idea of a work, national color, stable combinations that reveal the characteristics of a particular character, the corresponding atmosphere. Full immersion in the cultural heritage of the Chinese people, in translation science is envisaged for the most accurate transfer of the message conceived by the author.
The relevance of this work lies in the urgent need to study the features of the translation of Chinese literature into Russian for its correct and effective perception by the Russian reader.

The practical significance of the work involves the use of recommendations to achieve the maximum effect in translation practice from Chinese into Russian when translating works of art by Chinese authors, which can be used by teachers, methodologists, specialists in the field of translation, as well as students and graduate students.
