ORLOVA A. A.  (PhD lecturer of the department of linguistics and intercultural communication State University of Humanities and Social Studies, Kolomna )

The purpose of this work is to study the features of phraseological units used in modern English-language fashion blogs. The composition of the analyzed stable expressions includes components with the name of hats, clothing items, its elements, as well as lexemes denoting shoes. The author considers various classifications of phraseological units proposed by V.V. Vinogradov, A. A. Shakhmatov, A.I. Smirnitsky and other scientists. The novelty of the work consists in the classification of phraseological units according to certain lexemes contained in them. As a result of the study, it was found that phraseological units with the pocket token are the most frequent in the texts of posts of English-language fashion blogs.
