WAYS TO IMPROVE THE SYSTEM OF TEACHING GRAPHIC DISCIPLINES IN MODERN TRENDS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The purpose of this article is to identify the main ways and means of improving the quality of teaching students of technical universities in the disciplines of the engineering and graphic cycle. The author focus on such university subjects as “Descriptive Geometry” and “Engineering Graphics”. The work indicates that the modern higher education system reveals several trends that are currently being widely introduced into the practice of work of university teachers: interactivity, optimization and computerization of the educational process, widespread use of the potential of information, communication and digital technologies, implementation of the principles of practice-oriented learning. In addition, the study notes the problems of teaching engineering graphics and descriptive geometry in higher education. In this regard, the author of the article draw up a list of measures that improve the quality of teaching graphic disciplines at a technical university.
