THE PROBLEM OF COMPLEX INTRODUCTION OF BIOETHICAL THEMES INTO RUSSIAN EDUCATION

The actuality of the current research is explained by the fact that traditional upbringing of selective humanism becomes stalemated because it makes children and youth reconcile with industrial cruelty. At the same time its relevance is conditioned by the fact that modern scientific paradigm increasingly acknowledges the necessity to revise traditional practices of animal treatment. It is revealed that in pre-revolutionary Russia leading scholars pointed at the possibilities of lifestyle transformation in accordance with needs of living beings; in the Soviet period this information had scattered character, and its separate aspects presented in literature were targeted for different readers; that at the end of the XX – beginning of the XXI centuries Russian society got the possibility to obtain this information in its entirety and interconditionality. It is found out that psychological reasons connected with people’s unreadiness to revise scientific and moral paradigms that were taken for granted for a long time is a serious obstacle on the way of integrating bioethical data and values into education. That is why perspectives of further research that can facilitate mass integration of bioethical themes into education are connected not only with synthesizing experience accumulated in some educational institutions, but also with studying ways of solving psychological problems arising in the process of world view reassessment.
