In a scientific article, from the standpoint of the modern theory and practice of managing educational systems, the possibilities of using a project approach in the context of digitalization of the educational space of the university of culture are considered. It has been shown that the project approach to the digitalization of the system of continuing education and advanced training of creative personnel at the University of Culture is an effective tool for preserving, reproducing and broadcasting cultural heritage, modern creative practices and industries, bringing the higher educational institution to a new level of functioning, contributing to its transformation into a developed cultural and educational cluster with an extensive system of communication links.
